A local IT Engineering firm supporting DoD, Federal Agencies and US Partner Nations is seeking an experienced Network Architect to travel to CONUS/OCONUS locations up to 50% of the time. Joining a small but mighty team, you will assist in the design and planning of networks, verification and implementation of projects across the globe.

When not traveling, this individual will sit on-site in Aberdeen MD in an office & lab environment. They will sharpen engineering/IT fundamentals within the proprietary network, assist in daily tasks from leadership to ensure overall operation effectiveness, and prepare future travel destination locations for the next implementation project.

Required Skills & Experience

Ability to be read-on for a DoD Secret clearance w/in 6-months of employment
Bachelor's Degree and 5+ YOE or Associates Degree and 8+ YOE
5+ years of experience in the design of complex network architecture
Ground-up Network implementation/integration experience
Experience with Routing/Switching
Ability to travel up to 50% CONUS/OCONUS
Expert level knowledge of routing protocols such as BGP, OSPF, ISIS, and RIP. Practical knowledge of BGP peering types.
CCNA Certification

Nice to Have Skills & Experience

Familiarity with Radio over IP
Active Secret Clearance
Knowledge of Microsoft Office suite programs, MS Word, Excel, Teams, and PowerPoint
Linux familiarity
