Security Analyst (Senior) Intro
As a Senior Security Analyst, you will be an expert-level security specialist, responsible for managing very complex or multiple projects. Your role will involve participating and supporting all aspects of the project lifecycle, from the initial kickoff through requirements analysis, to implementation and operational handoff. You will take a leadership position in the design of infrastructure solutions and consult on projects regarding security, including cost estimation and dependency identification.
Security Analyst (Senior) Job Details
You will lead and coordinate the incident response team in handling cybersecurity incidents such as data breaches, malware infections, insider threats, and other security breaches. Your responsibilities will include conducting comprehensive digital forensics investigations, analyzing and interpreting data to identify potential security threats, and proactively monitoring systems for suspicious activities. Additionally, you will prepare detailed reports on incidents and security risks, providing clear and actionable recommendations for improvements.
Security Analyst (Senior) Mandatory Skills
- Expertise in managing complex security projects and providing strategic advice.
- Proficiency in designing infrastructure solutions based on detailed requirements and architectural principles.
- Ability to ensure that security designs are implemented correctly and that any revisions to configuration specifications are reviewed, approved, and documented.
- Strong ability to lead and coordinate incident response teams effectively.
Security Analyst (Senior) Desired Skills
- In-depth knowledge and experience in performing forensic investigations, utilizing a variety of Cybersecurity tools.
- Excellent communication and leadership abilities to collaborate effectively with diverse teams.
- Exceptional problem-solving skills, with a demonstrated ability to analyze complex challenges and provide innovative solutions.
- Experience with SCADA networks, pipeline operations, and Industrial Plant Control systems is highly advantageous.
