Delaware North Gaming is hiring a part-time Security Guard to join our team at Finger Lakes Gaming in Farmington, New York. As a Security Guard, you will be responsible for ensuring a safe environment for guests and team members, complying with confidentiality regulations regarding security information. Responsibilities

• Greet guests positively and timely , demonstrating skill in dealing with customer complaints and defusing charged situations
• Conduct cash escorts and patrol parking lot and ancillary buildings as assigned
• Observe, handle, and report procedural violations and illegal activity
• Ensure that identification is checked for proper admittance to the gaming floor
• Maintain crowd control and a secure presence on the gaming floor
• Operate motorized vehicle when necessary

Qualifications

• High school diploma or equivalent required
• Must have a valid driver's license, New York State Security Guard license, and licensed by the NY State Gaming Commission
• Ability to work across departmental lines with guests and vendors
• Previous security supervisory or law enforcement experience preferred
• Gaming background a plus
• Must have a valid driver's license, pass an MVR check, and take a drug test.
