THE ROLE:

We are seeking a dedicated and vigilant Security Officer to join our team at Park Hyatt Chicago. The Security Officer will be responsible for maintaining a safe and secure environment for guests, visitors, and employees of the hotel. This individual will monitor surveillance equipment, patrol designated areas, and respond to emergencies as needed. The ideal candidate should possess excellent communication skills, attention to detail, and a proactive approach to security.

RESPONSIBILITIES ( may include, but not limited to ):

• Monitor surveillance cameras and alarms to ensure the safety and security of the hotel premises.
• Patrol hotel property to prevent and detect signs of intrusion and ensure security of doors, windows, and gates.
• Respond promptly to requests for assistance and emergencies such as fire alarms, medical incidents, or disturbances.
• Escort guests and employees or provide other assistance as needed.
• Report any security-related incidents, hazards, or suspicious activities to management and local authorities as required.
• Conduct investigations of incidents as necessary and prepare accurate and concise reports.
