Aspirus Stevens Point Hospital in Stevens Point, WI is seeking a Security Officer to join our team!

Description: The Security Officer strives to provide a safe and secure environment for staff, patients, and visitors at Aspirus Stevens Point Hospital, while following policies & procedures. Interacts with other Security Officers and hospital staff to provide a quality security service. Demonstrates decision- making and critical thinking skills.

Hours: 0.9 FTE, 72 Hours Biweekly, Day Shift

Experience/Qualifications

• Knowledge of security procedures and standards normally acquired through completion of a high school diploma, GED, or equivalent combination of education and experience.
• An Associate's or Technical School degree in Police Science or current student in Police Science program desired.
• Security experience/training or background is beneficial.
• Possesses and maintains a valid Wisconsin Driver's License required.
• Annual competencies as required by Aspirus and/or various regulatory agencies based on entity and/or job position.
