Innova Solutions is currently seeking an IT SECURITY REMEDIATION ANALYST/ENGINEER to serve an American telecommunications and mass media company with over 32 million customers in 41 states, it is the largest cable operator in the United States and the fifth-largest telephone provider based on number of residential lines.
Position type: Full-time W2 (No C2C - No VISA sponsorship candidates)
Duration: through 2024 with likely extension
Location: Hybrid in St. Louis, MO or Charlotte, NC
Pay Range : $60-65/hour W2 including PTO

KEY RESPONSIBILITIES:
  • Triage vulnerability, identify fixes and send off to the appropriate fix team
  • Lead application security initiatives for 30+ on-prem and cloud applications
  • Conduct SAST/DAST and SCA scans using tools such as Veracode, Contrast and JFrog.
  • Responsible for Vulnerability Management and collaborating with cross-functional teams to gather and analyze security related data for the identification and remediation of vulnerabilities using tools such as Qualys, Kenna, and Archer; ensuring remediation efforts are backlogged on the respective teams Jira boards.
  • Utilize tools such as Tableau and Power BI to develop and publish reports based on KPIs that drive reduction in risk to the business and are tailored to the risk of each vertical.
  • Conduct risk assessments and coordinate penetration tests to identify liabilities in systems; then move forward with remediation efforts.
  • Lead teams through risk registry, scope registry, and exception management processes and procedures to effectively remediate identified security risks.
  • Assist leadership, security and audit teams by organizing and updating asset related data.
  • Identify the root cause of vulnerabilities and assist in creating and executing remediation plans.
  • Utilize Enterprise Risk Management concepts to help identify, assess, mitigate, and proactively address emerging risks.
  • Communicate with stakeholders (business leaders, business process owners and product owners) in decisions for both remediating security risks and expanding the company's Remediation Coordination program.
  • Create, maintain, and deliver risk and compliance reports to members of leadership and peer teams.

QUALIFICATIONS:
  • 7 - 10 years of experience
  • AWS Cloud Certificate (a firm understanding of the infrastructure and native application solutions.
  • Jira
  • Kenna (automates the correlation of vulnerability scan data with real-time threat intelligence, enabling Information Security teams to understand precisely where to prioritize and remediate)
  • ITSM tool: Cherwell preferred or experience with another tool such as Service Now etc.
  • AWS Inspector, Security Hub, Tableau and Power BI
  • Experience with vulnerability tools such as Veracode, Contrast and JFrog
  • Must have working knowledge in Enterprise data center environments and public cloud infrastructure (preferably AWS). Experience as a system engineer, software engineer, or other technical role is strongly preferred.
  • S oft skills: Must be a strong and decisive self-starter who is intrinsically motivated to study and understand the big picture and take the initiative at every opportunity to act, without requiring direction . Must be a creative thinker with the ability to reason outside the box and come up with ideas that challenge assumptions.
