Insight Global is seeking a Security Software Engineer in Costa Rica to join one of our largest medical device clients. As a Security Software Engineer, you will play a critical role in ensuring the security and integrity of their software systems during the digital transformation process. This person will regularly conduct security testing and code reviews to identify vulnerabilities, working toward an more automated and efficient system that can alert teams when they are at risk. In addition to this, when security incidents do occur, you'll troubleshoot and debug issues related to security breaches or vulnerabilities. This role will also have simple design responsibilities, providing engineering designs for new software solutions that emphasize security best practices. This is a highly collaborative role, and they are looking for someone with the expertise and drive to improve their overall security practices.

Required Skills & Experience
- 6+ years of experience within security software engineering
- Experience working within cyber security
- Web development experience, such as simple web page design and backend processing (JavaScript programming language)
- SQL and Linux experience
- Scripting using various service APIs (DT, WC)
