Our client, a healthcare service provider, is looking to expand their finance department. As they continue to expand their operations, they're seeking a Senior Accountant to join their team in the western suburbs of Chicago!

The Senior Accountant will work hand in hand with Finance leaders on tackling accounting operations and financial reporting. They will handle month-end functions, assist with creating internal controls and process improvements, and assists with the implementation of NetSuite. Senior Accountant Responsibilities:

• Responsible for completing month-end close procedures
• Manage the posting of journal entries and recording transactions, including bank and balance sheet reconciliations
• Provide oversight and serve as a backup for Accounts Payable (AP) and Accounts Receivable (AR) processes
• Consolidate financial packages
• Support NetSuite implementation

Senior Accountant Requirements:

• Bachelor's degree in Accounting
• CPA preferred
• 5+ years of accounting experience
• Experience working with ERP systems
• Excellent attention to detail with the ability to process improve
