*Please be advised that employees of the ICAC Unit will be required to participate in a psychological wellness program to include a baseline psychological evaluation, which may include MMPI-2RF, Diagnostic Assessment of Post-Traumatic Stress Disorder, a clinical interview, and periodic evaluations with a psychologist, to determine suitability for being exposed to images and videos of child sexual exploitation.
Duties Description This position is responsible for processing the New York State (NYS) Internet Crimes Against Children Task Force's data management systems, comprised of the NYS ICAC Data System (IDS), New York State Police case management systems, and Cybertip reports with a NYS nexus. This position liaisons with federal, state, and local law enforcement; community partners; other program managers; agency staff; and counterparts in other state and regional ICAC Task Forces. The work performed by this position provides direct assistance to law enforcement statewide, including Bureau of Criminal Investigation personnel and statewide task force affiliates. Under the direct supervision of an Associate Administrative Analyst in the Internet Crimes Against Children (ICAC) unit, the incumbent of this position will:
DUTIES
Manages the content of the Cybertip download manager and IDS, used to disseminate Cybertip reports and provide information to task force members.
Develops and recommends objectives for proposed programs that relate to the ICAC Task Force. Including recommendations for protocols on utilizing administrative subpoena power for ICAC cases.
Reviews options and provides recommendations for technology advancements for Cybertip dissemination. Presents recommendations to Command staff.
Collects information on Cybertip investigations and prepares comprehensive reports for distribution to internal staff and external law enforcement partners.
Identifies issues or problems with data by addressing factors that affect results of research and analysis.
Compiles, tracks and performs analysis of data to measure impacts of work processes and identifies trends.
Develops outreach materials regarding ICAC initiatives and disseminates to ICAC affiliate agencies.
Coordinate information flow within office ensuring uniformity of office policies and procedure and resolve administrative and operational problems.
