The Senior Administrative Program Coordinator supports the faculty and staff members of the Church Based Health Intervention to Eliminate Racial Inequalities in Cardiovascular Health (CHERISH) to coordinate the administrative and program aspects of study activities. This position oversees the daily administrative operations of the CHERISH Study, which include but are not limited to hiring and training of staff; organizing and hosting partner meetings and engagements; developing newsletters and meeting reports; maintaining and updating the study website; scheduling, coordination and facilitation of study partners and activities; coordinating conference calls; and supporting investigators' interviews and travel management.
• Working knowledge of clinical and office operations.

• Working knowledge of Microsoft Office software including Word and Excel.

• Strong communication, management, and analysis skills to enhance operations productivity and efficiency.

• Ability to demonstrate initiative and organize activities.

• Ability to work successfully and independently under budgetary and deadline requirements.

• Ability to prioritize and work with multiple projects simultaneously.

• Ability to work as part of a professional team and to collaborate effectively with individuals within the University as well as with outside contractors.

• Ability to maintain confidentiality in all work performed.




Special Required Ability for Incumbents Who Have Contact or Exposure to Animals or Animal Tissues:
Ability to complete and pass successfully the required occupational health screening referenced in the University's Animal Handler Health Surveillance Program on an annual basis. 




Required Background Check, Physical, and Drug Screening for Incumbents Who Have Contact or Exposure to Animals or Animal Tissues:

Selected candidates must complete and pass a background check and an occupational health screening as a condition of employment. For identified jobs, a drug screening will also be required. The background investigation, required occupational health screening, and any required drug screening will be conducted after a conditional employment offer has been extended.


• High School Diploma or Equivalent

• 3 years of relevant experience.


• Bachelor's Degree in Business Administration or a related field.

• 2 years of experience with clinical care operations.
