We are seeking a dynamic and experienced Thought Partner to join our team on a contract basis. In this role, you will act as a strategic advisor and sounding board to our client, helping to flag, assess, and mitigate anticipated risks during a significant organizational transformation. This contract based position requires a seasoned HR executive-turned-consultant with extensive internal experience, particularly in leading restructures. Your expertise will be crucial in executing the organizational transformation project plan, including change management and HR process-related tasks, in close partnership with internal resources.

What You'll Do

Strategic Advisory and Risk Mitigation:
  • Serve as a trusted thought partner to the Chief of Staff, providing high-level strategic advice and insights.
  • Identify, assess, and proactively mitigate potential risks associated with the organizational transformation.
  • Act as a sounding board for the executive team, facilitating informed decision-making processes.

Organizational Restructure Leadership:
  • Leverage extensive experience in leading organizational restructures to guide and support the transformation process.
  • Provide strategic direction and oversight to ensure the successful execution of restructuring initiatives.
  • Collaborate with the Chief of Staff and executive team to align restructuring efforts with the organization's strategic goals.

Project Execution and Change Management:
  • Drive the execution of the organizational transformation project plan, ensuring all milestones and objectives are met.
  • Lead change management initiatives, fostering a culture of adaptability and resilience within the organization.
  • Partner with internal resources to streamline HR processes and ensure seamless implementation of changes.

HR Process Optimization:
  • Oversee HR process-related tasks, ensuring they are aligned with the overall transformation strategy.
  • Collaborate with HR teams to optimize processes, enhance efficiency, and support the organization's evolving needs.
  • Provide guidance on best practices and innovative HR solutions to support the transformation journey.

What You'll Bring
  • Proven experience as a senior HR executive with a successful track record of transitioning to a consultant role.
  • Extensive experience in leading and managing organizational restructures.
  • Strong strategic thinking and risk assessment capabilities.
  • Demonstrated ability to serve as a trusted advisor and thought partner to senior executives.
  • Expertise in change management and HR process optimization.
  • Excellent communication, collaboration, and leadership skills.
  • Ability to thrive in a fast-paced, dynamic environment and manage multiple priorities.
  • Bachelor's degree in Human Resources, Business Administration, or a related field required.
  • Master's degree or relevant certification preferred.

Slalom is committed to fair and equitable compensation practices. For this position, the hourly rate is $150 to $300 per hour. Actual compensation will depend upon an individual's skills, experience, qualifications, location, and other relevant factors. The salary pay range is subject to change and may be modified at any time.
