Universal Orlando Resort believes in-person collaboration is key to our success. Many of our Team Members work in a hybrid capacity, contributing from the workplace a minimum of three days per week. JOB SUMMARY:

Become an effective partner to Universal Orlando Finance leadership by combining business knowledge with analytical skillsets to answer complex questions and influence business decisions. Analyze and extract relevant information about guest behaviors and preferences from both structured and unstructured data to better understand visitation and origin trends. Deliver clear and compelling findings with data visualization tools and presentations that inform and assist in key decisions for internal stakeholders. Collaborate with colleagues in Marketing, Operations, Finance, and IT to infuse predictive analytics into increased forecasting accuracy and profitability.

MAJOR RESPONSIBILITIES:
  • Assist with the planning and forecasting functions for park attendance and ticketing. Analyze sales trends, ticket utilization and financial impacts, communicating insights to leadership. Provide commentary on trends both from a financial and operational perspective.
  • Populate and maintain various datasets, including (but not limited to) plan and LE attendance, ticketing detail, staffing projections and financial outlooks.
  • Support the team in the development of technological and analytically based solutions including, but not limited to forecasting, financial model development, and ROI's.
  • Assist with applicable ad-hoc projects and requests
  • Understand and actively participate in Environmental, Health & Safety responsibilities by following established policy, procedures, training, and team member involvement activities.
  • Perform other duties as assigned.

EDUCATION:
  • Bachelor's degree is required.
  • Bachelor's degree in Business, Finance, Accounting, Analytics, or equivalent is preferred.

EXPERIENCE:
  • 5+ years of relevant experience in the field or related area.
  • Experience analyzing and summarizing large data sets to solve complex problems.
  • Experience with financial planning and budgets.
  • Experience writing complex SQL queries to analyze and retrieve data.

ADDITIONAL INFORMATION:
  • Infrequent local travel.
  • Long distance travel not required.
