Position Summary:

This role is responsible for driving business results by delivering insights and actionable recommendation to decision makers. Responsible for managing assigned standard and ad hoc projects within the prescribed best practice framework while working closely with stakeholders. Responsible for developing and presenting insights to the business. Responsible for maintaining all assigned routine reporting.

  • Champion analytic insights with business teams and build excellent strong cross-functional relationships to drive the business integration of insights.
  • Implement Company's customer-centric strategies and initiatives.
  • Serves as consultant driving value-added insights for internal customers.
  • Ensure the full utilization and integration of existing research and customer/market knowledge to drive strategy and tactics.
  • Support the best practices within analytic insights through standardization of methods, tools, and knowledge-sharing to maximize group efficiency and impact; create a data-driven culture.
  • Responsible to support and execute the customer-data analytics roadmap objectives, as assigned.
  • Identify internal and external information sources (Merchandising, Purchasing, Operations etc.).
  • Additional responsibilities may be assigned as needed.


Here's what you'll need:
  • Bachelor's Degree (Required) in Business Analytics or Economics, Mathematics, Statistics or related field or equivalent combination of education and/or experience.
  • 7 years' experience with software applications used for data quantitative and statistical analyses and visualization required. Experience with data mining and analysis projects and presenting to decision makers required.
  • Strong written and verbal communication skills.
  • Project management skills and attention to detail.
  • Ability to define problems, collect data, establish facts, draw conclusions and recommend concise solutions.
  • Knowledge of analytical, quantitative & statistical approaches to derive insights from large, data sets, solving complex, ambiguous business problems using business acumen.
  • Ability to effectively present information with visualizations with a focus on telling an impactful story.
  • Exceptional Excel (i.e., VBA, Pivot Tables, etc.) and PowerPoint required.
  • Hands-on experience with reporting, data discovery and visualization tools such as MicroStrategy, MS Power BI, Cognos, Tableau or similar.
  • Statistical software such as R or SAS, scripting languages such as Python and SQL preferred.
