Position Overview

PD&E Investments

RGA's Private Debt and Equity actively invests in middle market and lower middle market buyout funds as a Limited Partner and also provides flexible capital to support leveraged buyouts, recapitalizations, add-on acquisitions, and growth capital. Our solutions are comprised of senior/unitranche, second lien, subordinated debt, and non-control equity.

The PD&E Operations team plays a critical role in the investment life cycle. The Senior Analyst will perform crucial day-to-day functions of the team's portfolio investments supporting all key asset strategies, such as direct debt and private equity.

Responsibilities

  • Monitor and process capital call and distribution requests for fund investments.
  • Process bank operations and wires.
  • Perform daily cash monitoring and reconciliations.
  • Process and maintain legal entities, portfolios and bank accounts in investment systems.
  • Process Schedule BA financial statements and tax documents.
  • Responsible for physical and e-vault documentation and reconciliation.
  • Assists with debt confirmations and audit requests.
  • Acts as backup for onboarding investments, as needed.
  • Maintains regular and predictable attendance.
  • Performs other duties as assigned.


Requirements

EDUCATION AND EXPERIENCE

Required:
• Bachelor's degree in Business, Business Administration, Accounting, Finance, Math or 3-5 years equivalent working experience
• 3-5 years related work experience related industry experience dealing with securities operations processes.

Preferred:
• 3-5 years audit or accounting experience with a CPA firm
• 3-5 years investment banking, private equity or mezzanine fund experience
• 3-5 years corporate credit experience with an insurance company or other asset manager

SKILLS AND ABILITIES

Required:

• Basic understanding of investment/market concepts including but not limited to relative value, asset liability management, investment valuation
• Basic knowledge of leveraged financed market including, private equity and the middle market lending environment
• Proficient use of Microsoft Office tools
• Intermediate written and verbal communication skills
• Intermediate investigative, analytical, and problem-solving skills
• Ability to set goals and handle multiple tasks and projects simultaneously
• Ability to appropriately balance priorities, deadlines, and deliverables
• Ability to work well within a team environment and participate in department/team projects
• Ability to liaise with individuals across a wide variety of operational, functional, and technical disciplines
• Basic customer relationship management skills
• General business knowledge

The general pay range for this position is $75k-$105k base per year. Base pay varies depending on job-related knowledge, skills, experience and market location. In addition, RGA provides an annual bonus plan that includes all roles and some positions are eligible for participation in our long-term equity incentive plan.
