Paul, Weiss, Rifkind, Wharton & Garrison LLP seeks an experienced Regulatory Antitrust Paralegal with >5 years of experience in merger control work. This position, located in either our New York or Washington D.C. office, will report to Antitrust Lawyers in the Litigation Group and have primary responsibility for:
  • Preparing and filing Hart-Scott-Rodino Forms with the Federal Trade Commission and the Department of Justice
  • Coordinating information sharing across multinational competition filings
  • Assisting attorneys in analyzing transactions for reportability under the Hart-Scott-Rodino Act and foreign competition regimes
  • Organizing and maintaining portfolio company data on behalf of large private equity clients, in anticipation of future filings
  • Organizing and maintaining a searchable database of past filings on behalf of large private equity clients
  • Tracking the status of filings and expected clearance dates


Required Skills and Experience:
  • Bachelor’s Degree required
  • Minimum 5 or more years of prior work experience as a regulatory paralegal focused on antitrust law, either at a law firm or at an antitrust agency
  • Experience with preparing and organizing information for HSR filings is a must
  • Prior experience with private equity clients is a plus
  • Proficient with Microsoft Office Suite (i.e. Word, Excel, Power Point)
  • Proactive, energetic and hardworking team player
  • Exceptionally well organized and detail-oriented
  • Strong project management skills
  • Skilled at conceptualizing and implementing systems and procedures

Salary

$95,000 - $110,000... Paul, Weiss offers competitive compensation and benefits packages. The firm considers a number of factors when determining compensation, including, but not limited to, education, years of experience, levels of experience, competency levels and other relevant skills and qualifications.
