Job Description:

L3Harris is currently seeking a Senior Associate, Software Engineer to join our team. This position will be based at our Greenville, TX facility and offers a 9/80 schedule.

Essential Functions:

2+ years of object-oriented development experience using C++.
Design, implement, and integrate software in a Linux Environment.
Utilize scripting languages such as Python.
Perform software coding and debugging, perform software unit tests, and integrate software components.
Ability to analyze requirements and design tradeoffs against scope, cost, and schedule constraints.
Support continuous improvement, process innovation, and lessons learned activities.

Qualifications:

Availability to obtain a DoD Security Clearance, which requires U.S. Citizenship.
Bachelor's Degree and minimum 2 years of prior relevant experience, or Graduate Degree.
A combination of education and experience may be considered in lieu of a degree.

Preferred Additional Skills:

Experience in Design Patterns and Frameworks.
Development experience using Qt.
Proficient in Java development.
Familiarity with programming in various JS frameworks.
Exposure to Agile development and DevOps.
Able to communicate effectively and work closely with assigned software team.
Active Secret or TS/SCI clearance.
