JOB ROLE AND PURPOSE:

Bridge the gap between business needs and IT solutions within the insurance industry. Work in Insurance Domain with a focus on organizational deliverables, best practices and client mgmt. Work closely with business stakeholders to understand their needs and gather requirements for new insurance products, systems, or enhancements to existing products/systems. Collaborate with IT teams to translate business requirements into technical specifications for insurance systems or software. Analyze business needs and processes, and develop detailed requirements documentation for changes, enhancements, and new development. Perform project rollouts of Insurance Frontend Applications, Rating Applications, Billing Systems, Claims Systems and Policy Administration Systems (PAS). This includes creating Business Requirements Documentation (BRD), Functional Specification Documents (FSD), data models, and system design documents, Entity Relation/Interface and behavioral and Structural UML diagrams including Data Flow and Use Cases. Execute project in a global delivery model, client mgmt., project & team mgmt using various methodologies (Waterfall and AGILE - SCRUM), partner products, tools & platforms. Analyze insurance data to identify trends, patterns, and insights that can inform business decisions. Ensure that insurance products and processes comply with regulatory requirements and industry standards. Apply industry standard delivery execution approach for successful implementation including Requirement and Planning, Analysis and Design, Implementation and Quality Assurance. Focus on organizational deliverables, best practices and client management in the insurance industry.

REQUIREMENTS:

BS in Management Information Systems, Business, Comp.Sci, or related field plus 5 years of experience in position involving similar duties/technical capabilities. Must be willing to relocate and work anywhere in the U.S.
