Koniag Professional Services (KPS), a Koniag Government Services (KGS) company, is seeking a Senior Aviation Analyst with a Top Secret/SCI clearance to support our customer at the Pentagon.

Essential Functions, Responsibilities and Duties:
  • The Contractor shall perform technical and operational analysis support to the HQDA, G-3/5/7 Aviation Directorate.
  • The Contractor shall provide support for aviation systems integration for the current and future fleets to assist with aviation program applications on all platforms under the purview of the Aviation Directorate. The Contractor shall support the DA ODCS G-3, Aviation Task Force Director, the DA ODCS G-6 (Director for Communications), Sustainment Directorate (DALO-SM), and the DA ODCS G-8 (Director for Programs), Aviation Division (DAPR-FDV).
  • The Contractor shall coordinate analysis with other agencies and activities, incorporating technical comments.
  • The Contractor shall provide HQDA staff with qualitative and quantitative assessments of the relative desirability of various alternate choices. The Contractor shall provide recommendations for potential changes in basic policy and objectives based on the results of analysis and recommended changes in criteria and the assumptions underlying program plans and evaluation.
  • The Contractor shall furnish information such as prepared summaries and estimates related to particular studies and projects for use in conferences, reports, briefings, and planning.
  • The Contractor shall provide analytical support to the Army Staff in support of the PPBE activities. The Contractor shall provide recommendations on future developments for the Program Objective Memorandum (POM).
  • The Contractor shall assist in monitoring and reporting on related funding in Aviation related Management Decision Evaluation Packages (MDEPS) across all Program Evaluation Group (PEGs) to ensure adequate funding for programs in all aspects of Doctrine, Organization Training, Materiel, Leadership and education, Personnel, Facilities, and Policy (DOTMLPF-P).

The Analyst will have:
  • A Bachelor’s degree
  • A minimum of ten (10) years related aviation experience
  • Demonstrated knowledge of Capability Developments Integration Directorate aviation warfighting concepts, Army training and leader development; manned and unmanned systems capabilities and the HQDA orders publication process.
  • Strong analytical and data visualization skills and proficiency with the application of Microsoft Excel. Operations Research Systems Analyst (ORSA) preferred
  • An Active Top Secret/SCI Clearance


Working Environment & Conditions

This job operates in a professional office environment and has a noise level of mostly low to moderate. This role routinely uses standard office equipment such as computers, phones, photocopiers, filing cabinets and fax machines.

This position is primarily indoors, consistent with a standard office position and has a noise level of mostly low to moderate. The incumbent is required to stand, walk; sit; use hands to finger, handle, or feel objects, tools, or controls; reach with hands and arms; talk and hear. The workload may require the incumbent to sit for extended periods of time. The incumbent must be able to read, do simple math calculations and withstand moderate amounts of stress.

The incumbent must occasionally lift and/or move up to 25 lbs. Specific vision abilities required by the job include close vision, distance vision, color vision, depth perception, and the ability to adjust focus.
