Work you'll do/Responsibilities
- Work with engineering teams to implement application build and deployment (DevOps) processes and deployment pipelines
- Create, implement, and manage the tools and scripts to automate everyday DevOps operations
- Maintain multiple (DevOps) environments based on project requirements
- Drive application and product feature release management across the development life cycle through to production deployment
- Coordinate with application and system development engineers trouble shoot and resolve deployment issues
- Identify and advise new tools and processes to improve the DevOps process to increases an organization's ability to deliver applications and services at high velocity
- Mentor and guide junior level resources on the team

Required Qualifications
- Bachelor-level degree in IT related field or equivalent professional experience
- 6+ years of relevant consulting, industry or technology experience with DevOps processes, tools, and technologies
- 6+ years' experience supporting application build and deployment in a Cloud environment
- Deep understanding of core DevOps practices (Configuration Management, Continuous Integration, Infrastructure as Code, Continuous Delivery, Continuous Deployment, Continuous Monitoring)
- Deep understanding of DevOps integration with automated testing and/or automation deployment verification.
- Demonstrated experience with common configuration management version control, build and deployment tools (Jenkins, Git, Bitbucket, CodeCommit, Chef, Ansible)
- Experience with modern cloud build and deployment tools (GitLab, Beanstalk, OpsWorks, CodeCommit, CodeBuild, CodeDeploy)
- Experience with application deployment to containers (Docker, Kubernetes, AWS EKS, AWS ECS)
- Experience working with cloud deployment languages (CloudFormation, Terraform, Chef, Ansible, Helm)
- Solid understanding of cloud services and infrastructure (VPC, EC2, S3, EBS, EFS, ELB, SG, NACL)
- Must live in a commutable distance (approximately 100-mile radius) to one of the following Delivery locations: Atlanta, GA; Charlotte, NC; Dallas, TX; Gilbert, AZ; Houston, TX; Lake Mary, FL; Mechanicsburg, PA; Philadelphia, PA with the ability to commute to assigned location for the day, without the need for overnight accommodations
- Expectation to co-locate in your designated Delivery location up to 30% of the time based on business needs. This may include a maximum of 10% overnight client/project travel.
- Ability to travel 10%, on average, based on the work you do and the clients and industries/sectors you serve. This may include overnight travel.
- Must be legally authorized to work in the United States without the need for employer sponsorship, now or at any time in the future.
- AWS Certification (AWS Solution Architect Associate, AWS Developer, AWS DevOps)
