Job description

Infosys is seeking Senior Business Analyst with proven requirement gathering skills and have experience in preparing technical requirement documents based on the information gathered in technical workshops. This position will be an expert contributing to different phases of the consulting lifecycle; involved in business process consulting; define the problem, propose and create the solution; also play an important role in the development, configuration and deployment of the overall solution; and will guide teams on project processes, deliverables and contribute to the proposal development, client training and internal capability building and help detail the project scope. Required Qualifications:

• Candidate must be located within commuting distance of Greensboro, NC , Raleigh, NC , Warren, NJ or Hartford, CT or be willing to relocate to the area. This position may require travel.
Bachelor's degree or foreign equivalent required from an accredited institution. Will also consider three years of progressive experience in the specialty in lieu of every year of education.
• At least 4 years of Information Technology experience.
• Experience in Business Analysis in Insurance domain with Life insurance exposure or Mortgage Insurance exposure
• Applied experience with large scale, complex IT projects.
• Experience working on the business side is a plus.
• Experience in execution of agile projects.
• Experience in projects with variable staffing including onsite/offshore execution model and distributed teams.
• Experience and familiarity with life insurance domain is a must.
• Experience in New Business and Claims as a business analyst is preferred.
• Familiarity with multiple software development methodologies.
• Working knowledge of Business Analysis Standards (i.e. IIBA best practices).
• Proficient in MS Word, Excel, Visio, MS Project, and PowerPoint. Knowledge of SharePoint, Quality Center, Rally and JIRA a plus.
• Quickly learns new businesses and complex processes.
• Ability to work from objectives with minimal guidance or supervision.
• Demonstrated ability to understand and work across multiple business domains in support of projects.
• Ability to partner with development teams that support various technology platforms.
• Extensive expertise in environment management issue resolution and an excellent working knowledge of continuous deployment and integration.

Preferred Qualifications:

• Experience in creating requirement specifications based on Architecture/Design /Detailing of Processes.
• Experience in capturing requirements related to internal/external consulting, documenting, and mapping current business process.
• Experience in Development/ Configuration/solutions evaluation/ Validation and deployment.
• Experience in Business Analysis Skills - Requirements analysis, Elicitation, Agile Methodologies.
• Planning and Co-ordination skills.
• Experience and desire to work in a management consulting environment that requires regular travel.
• Experience and desire to work in a Global delivery environment.
• Ability to write design documents and walk the audience through the design.
• Able to estimate for the end-to-end delivery of Integration projects.
• Able to work on technical aspects and help tackle complex items including Integration.
• Excellent communication skills to efficiently manage client stakeholders and Infosys internal teams.

The job may also entail sitting as well as working at a computer for extended periods of time. Candidates should be able to communicate by telephone, email or face to face.
