About The Role

CBRE is looking for a Senior Business Operations Analyst who will provide financial and administrative support for an operations business unit. The incumbent will have proven abilities in coordinating budgeting, process improvement, and coordinating proposals. The ideal candidate will be developing solutions to issues related to business operations through critical thinking and exceptional organizational skills.

What You'll Do

  • Analyzes monthly department budget reports to maintain expense controls. Prepares commentary and explanation of variances for management review as well as providing recommendations for solutions.
  • Support the department with financial functions, such as assessing, auditing, planning, budgeting, invoicing, consolidation, and proposals.
  • Analyzes records of present and past operations, trends, and costs, estimated and realized revenues, administrative commitments, and obligations incurred to project future revenues and expenses.
  • Compiles budgetary and fiscal data received from assigned departments to prepare and submit forecasts and budgets.
  • Assists in preparing forecasts, financial analyses, and recommendations for budgets, forecasts, plans, statistical reports, and business forecasts.
  • Monitors invoicing for expenses to ensure compliance with established policies, service contracts, and other operating constraints.
  • Reviews and monitors department processes and procedures to find opportunities to improve service for internal and external customers.
  • Compiles a variety of operating, financial, and statistical information in response to management requests regarding analysis reports and proposals.
  • Leads and facilitates communication of standard processes, policies, procedures, and initiatives to support operations with process improvements.
  • Develops project plans and costs, including personnel and fiscal requirements to achieve defined objectives.

What You'll Need

  • Bachelor's Degree (BA/BS) from a four-year college or university or 5 years of proven experience in lieu of a degree.
  • Minimum of 4 years of experience with budgeting, finance, and or business analytics;
  • Advanced proficiency with Microsoft Excel and PowerPoint
