Pegasystems develops strategic applications for sales, marketing, service, and operations for our Global 500 clients include the world's largest and most sophisticated enterprises. Our Pega Cloud team focuses on delivering services that are essential for Pega as a Service success. As a member of one of the most innovative and fastest-growing groups at Pega, you will work closely with talented engineers and product owners across the globe (US/EU/India) to build a highly scalable Software as a Service (SaaS) offering.

What You'll Do at Pega:

60% - Cloud Software Engineering

* Build highly-available, scalable cloud-native systems using Golang, Java, or Pega Platform

* Work as part of a collaborative agile team and lead User Stories to completion

* Participate in code reviews

20% - Cloud Service Design

* Work with Product Owners and other stakeholders along with the team members to design and document new Pega Cloud features

* Design and execute unit, integration, and API test

20% - Cloud Service DevOps

* Leverage DevOps tools and CI/CD pipelines to enable automated operations of our services

* Assist our operations team with sophisticated operations along the entire service lifecycle

Who You Are:

"* You are a passionate developer with sufficient experience to drive chunks of work to completion solely

* You understand the basis of DevOps culture, and you want to grow yourself to be a technically versatile person

* You want to have an impact and help us with our Pega Cloud ""as-a-Service"" evolution"

What You've Accomplished:

"* Bachelor's/Master's degree in Computer Science and 5 to 7 years of relevant experience

* Strong knowledge of Golang, Java, or Pega apps development, ideally in the microservices aspect

* Very good understanding and experience in Cloud technologies (should present knowledge level of AWS Associate Architect or equivalent for Google or Azure)

* Good knowledge of Infrastructure as a Code (Helm/Terraform/Cloudformation)

* Very good knowledge of Docker and Kubernetes (having CKAD certification is a plus)

* Be able to problem solve, troubleshoot, and debug Linux and development stack (Linux, Tomcat, PostgreSQL, etc.)"
