Expected Starting Salary Range: $28 - 35/hr

This is a 10-month position working during the school year, August- June.

Working as a Senior Community Engagement Specialist with Adapt for Life through Cincinnati Children's Hospital Medical Center you will:

• Provide education on Adapt For Life suicide prevention in Cincinnati area school

• Present to students about mental health, teaching important life skills while offering resources they can use to help themselves and others.

• Manage multiple projects simultaneously, work both independently and in a team environment, and work efficiently and creatively to meet deadlines.

• Effectively leverage engagement, outreach and health education activities and measure impact and effectiveness.

Qualifications:

Job Requirements:

  • Bachelor's degree in a related field
  • 0-2 years work experience in a related job discipline


Preferred Qualifications:

• Experience working with adolescents/teens and mental health service

• Experience facilitating, presenting; classroom experience

• Professional verbal, written, and interpersonal communication skills with ability to develop materials for presentations to a variety of audiences both internal and external

• Computer literate and competency related to Microsoft Office with emphasis on PowerPoint and Excel

• LIW/LISW or LPC/LPCC licensure preferred
