An employer is looking to add a Senior Configuration Management Engineer to their team in St. Louis, Missouri. This person will lead configuration planning, identification, change control, tracking, and verification, and facilitate program baseline management. They will assess and collaborate in the development of prime contract and supplier contract configuration management requirements. They will write configuration management plans, define corresponding baseline management practices and business processes, and establish and apply methodology for product and document identification. They will be responsible for preparing change control documents such as Engineering Change Proposals (ECP), Requests for Variance (RFV), Change Documents/Change Requests (CD/CRs), Conduct program Change Control Boards (CCB), perform configuration audits, coordinate product configuration definition documentation, and others. They will also lead fellow configuration management engineers in the understanding and execution of configuration management principles and job practices, and support of industry quality audits for Configuration Management.

Required Skills & Experience

7+ year of experience in engineering (can be any of the following: aerospace, electrical, mechanical, chemical, systems, manufacturing, etc.)

5+ year of experience with Configuration Management and Change Management

Extensive experience with Excel to perform data analysis.

Skilled in editing PDF and Word files.

A bachelor's degree or higher in engineering, computer science, mathematics, physics, or chemistry.

Must be able to obtain an Active Secret Clearance

5 or more years' related work experience or an equivalent combination of education and experience.

9 or more years' related work experience or an equivalent combination of education and experience.
