Job Duties: Support the introduction of new technological equipment and products into a fully automated and integrated 24/7 manufacturing regulated and audited production environment. Upgrade and maintain control systems of manufacturing machines using the following programming software and hardware: Allen Bradley software - Studio 5000, FactoryTalk ME/SE; Allen Bradley Hardware - ControlLogix PLC; IOT Software - Telit DeviceWise; Robotics - Yamaha RCX Studio, Epson RC-700. Modify PLC & HMI codes to add new functionality as per requirements. Write software test procedure documents for the new requirements. Document recent changes in codes and test histories. Provide technical support for the PLC, HMI, IOT, and Robot software and controller issues. Ensure that manufacturing equipment meets company specifications, schedules, and budgets. Take a primary position in activities involved with sub contractors from beginning of design process through installation and start-up processes. Serve as a resource for other engineering disciplines in facility or a portion of a given technology. Primary focus as advocate for continuous improvement of technology and process during alternate working hours schedule.

Qualifications

Requirements: Bachelor's degree in Electrical Engineering, Electronics Engineering, or related field and 5 years of progressive, post-baccalaureate experience in the job offered or in a Senior Controls Engineer, Automation & Controls-related occupation.

  • Work, Personal and Family Time - up to 40 hours per calendar year
