Webstaurant Store, a Clark Associates company, is looking for an energetic and analytical candidate to join our growing company as a Senior Data Analyst on the Operations Support Services team. The successful candidate for this role will have a passion for excellence, be self-motivated, and possess the ability to multitask and prioritize their workload.

This is a full-time remote position.

POSITION SUMMARY

The Operations Support Services Senior Data Analyst, Forecasting & Modeling, is pivotal to our internal customer success. Focusing on leveraging data insights for stakeholders across the distribution center network, you will utilize comprehensive analytical practices to develop, implement, and administer data analytics and predictive modeling for our distribution centers. As a seasoned data professional, you will collaborate with stakeholders and senior leaders to establish reporting framework and analyses utilizing statistical modeling and simulation techniques for initiatives such as forecasts, staffing planning, and metric and KPI tracking. You will lead initiatives, guide, and support employees at various levels, and develop predictive models and simulations.

ESSENTIAL DUTIES & RESPONSIBILITIES
• Lead the design, development, and documentation of reports/dashboards that benefit all metrics and KPIs and meet the informational needs of stakeholders
• Lead and support all forecasting, modeling, and simulation related initiatives within the operational distribution centers and expansions, influencing strategic decisions through actionable insights
• Mentor and provide technical guidance to team members while fostering skill development and knowledge sharing
• Analyze large datasets using statistical techniques, interpret trends and/or patterns, and provide meaningful/actionable insights to stakeholders regarding various KPIs
• Present deliverables of quantitative and qualitative research to internal stakeholders and external clients
• Develop data visualizations to monitor KPIs while applying analytical skills to manage high-volume data from various sources
• Complete quality tests and evaluations of reports, analyses, and predictive models
• Engage with various partners consistently while establishing credibility by producing accurate and quality deliverables on time
• Occasional overnight travel will be required
• Complete other duties and ad-hoc projects as assigned

EXPERIENCE/REQUIREMENTS
• 3-5 years of relevant work experience in statistical analysis, predictive modeling, and simulation techniques is required
• Working knowledge in Microsoft Office 365 and Power BI are required
• Adept in querying, analyzing, and working with data using SQL and MySQL is required
• Experience utilizing a business intelligence visualization tool is required, Power BI preferred
• Education or experience in Analytics, Computer Science, Data Science, Engineering, or Supply Chain Management is a plus

• Strong business acumen with the ability to turn raw data into actionable insights using tools such as Power BI, Python, Microsoft Excel, SQL, and Data Warehouse

Remote work qualifications
  • Access to a reliable and secure high-speed internet connection. Cable or fiber internet connections (at least 75mbps download/10mbps upload) are preferred, as satellite connections often cannot support the technologies used to perform day-to-day tasks.
