Working on behalf of the Administrator of the Research Office supports agency's efforts to develop and carry out a research framework aligned with the agency's overall strategic directives:
Serves as consultant to department's program offices in the appropriate and accurate use of data to inform key policy initiatives (formulates and implements policies, procedures and programs related to research, data collection and reporting) to ensure that data is used and maintained in accordance with department's strategic directives.
In collaboration with leadership, program offices, and data management staff, researches and collects relevant information from various internal, state, and national sources:
Develops, conducts, and implements use of various tools, instruments and methods needed for effective program assessment and policy analysis (e.g., use of Tableau, SAS or other statistical package):

60 mos. exp. data analytics or statistical analysis or research methods including 12 mos. work experience in data analytics specified by the agency in the position description & job posting.
-Or completion of associate core program in data analytics, applied mathematics, statistics, industrial/systems engineering, or related field; 42 mos. exp. in data analytics, statistical analysis, or research methods including 12 mos. work experience in data analytics specified by the agency in the position description & job posting.
-Or completion of undergraduate core program in data analytics, applied mathematics, statistics, industrial/systems engineering, or related field; 36 mos. exp. in data analytics, statistical analysis, or research methods including 12 mos. work experience in data analytics specified by the agency in the position description & job posting.
-Or completion of graduate core program in data analytics, applied mathematics, statistics, industrial/systems engineering, or related field; 24 mos. exp. in data analytics, statistical analysis, or research methods including 12 mos. work experience in data analytics specified by the agency in the position description & job posting.
-Or 12 mos. exp. as a Data Analytics Specialist, 66931 including 12 mos. work experience in data analytics specified by the agency in the position description & job posting.
-Or equivalent of Minimum Class Qualifications For Employment noted above.
