LaSalle Network is currently partnering with our client, a leader in high-quality home health, hospice and palliative care, that is seeking a Senior Desktop Engineer to join their team. This position is based in Nashville, TN and will be expected to be onsite. This is a contract opportunity.

Senior Desktop Engineer Responsibilities:

• Provide advanced troubleshooting for complex desktop issues, including hardware, software and network problems
• Maintain and manage desktop and laptop inventory, ensuring all assets are properly tracked and maintained
• Monitor and optimize desktop performance and reliability
• Maintain detailed documentation of desktop configurations, procedures and troubleshooting steps
• Generate reports on desktop performance, incidents and compliance metrics
• Provide regular updates to IT management on project status and key issues
• Develop and implement desktop infrastructure strategies to support business needs
• Lead projects related to desktop and laptop hardware, software deployment and system upgrades
• Design and deploy automated systems for software deployment, patch management and configuration management

Senior Desktop Engineer Requirements:

• 5+ years of experience in desktop engineering or a related field
• Proven experience in managing and troubleshooting large-scale desktop environments
• Experience with Azure, Microsoft and security management
• Strong knowledge of Windows and macOS operating systems
• Experience with desktop deployment tools such as SCCM, Intune or similar
• Familiarity with virtualization technologies (e.g., VDI, VMware)
• Understanding of network protocols and services (e.g., TCP/IP, DNS, DHCP)
