The Senior Development Coordinator, Donor Engagement and Events supports the events, communications, and donor relations functions of the Development Office. The ideal candidate will have exceptional attention to detail, strong organizational skills, a comfort with technology, a proactive approach, the ability to juggle multiple projects, and the flexibility to collaborate with and support multiple teams across the Development Office.

Regular responsibilities include:

• Provide administrative support to the Managing Director, Philanthropy Operations and the Donor Engagement team.

• Provide support and management of projects for events, communications, stewardship, and donor recognition initiatives.

• Monitor and respond to inquiries to the NWH Events telephone line and email accounts. Respond to inquiries and track information as directed.

• Assist with event RSVP process, coordination of event details and logistics and execution of events.

• Assist with recording, gathering, and tracking donor, prospect, and event registration information in the Blackbaud CRM database system.

• Provide day-of support and management of special events and donor engagement activities.

• Assist with the creation of development publications, presentations, event materials and other communication projects. Support the production and dissemination of materials, including printing and mailing.

• Schedule meetings and prepare and disseminate materials including agendas and presentations. Record meeting notes as needed.

• Manage the department communications calendar.

• Assist with online development communications, including drafting messages, tracking analytics and creating reports to monitor efficacy of messaging and suggest improvements based on data.

• Assist with a system for documenting and tracking photos, videos and other collateral. Collect and file consent documentation from donors and patients.

• Maintain inventory of donor collateral and giveaways, including publications, reports, and gifts. Assist with compiling and sending these items.

• Assist with donor recognition activities, including naming opportunities, plaque creation and inventory, and annual donor lists and signage.

• Support the gift acknowledgment system, including editing, printing, and sending letters.

• Occasional night and weekend work to support event and donor engagement activities.

• Other duties and responsibilities as assigned.

Qualifications

Bachelor's degree or equivalent experience preferred. 3 to 5 years administrative experience. Prior experience in a development office or health care setting preferred.

A. Job Knowledge/Skills Criteria/Standards:

1. Strong command of Microsoft Office applications.

2. Experience with Blackbaud CRM, Raiser's Edge, or similar fundraising database, preferred.
