Insight Global is looking for a Senior EDI Engineer for a large client of ours in Cleveland, OH. In this role you will work closely with leadership, Business Owners, Trading Partners, and fellow IT (Information Technology) members to administer and monitor EDI activities. You will oversee the day-to-day activities to ensure our organization capitalizes on the benefits of a stable EDI ecosystem. Knowledge of Gentran: Server for Windows, ANSI x12 Standards, MuleSoft Anypoint Partner Manager, FTP, SFTP. Confluence, Jira, SAP IDOCs and Oracle Database knowledge a plus. Continuously demonstrate a proactive approach to monitoring, maintaining support, resolving problems, conducting analysis, producing analytics, and documentation of our EDI processes.

System support:

* Must have working experience on EDI to support third-party vendor integrations.

* Execute server restart and verify Gentran is operating within optimal parameters.

* Collaborate with Windows Admins to support software installation and updates.

* Coordinate testing across the EDI pre-prod ecosystem: Gentran, MuleSoft, SAP, Oracle.

* Maintain Disaster Recovery protocols, compliance, and testing support.

* Conversant in the following X12 Specification: 810, 812, 850, 832, 855, 865, 996, 997.

* Responsible for onboarding new trading partners, VANs, 3PLs with precise requirements.

Analyst:

* Research failed inbound and outbound documents. If necessary, work with Trading Partners and application support to resolve source document issues.

* Monitor Process Control for long running jobs.

* Monitor Mailbox communications for any failed connections.

* Monitor Alerts generated by EDI applications: Gentran, CIF, MuleSoft, SAP

* Manage ServiceNow and Jira queues to determine prioritization of daily work tasks.

* Conduct Incident management -- Prioritize incidents; Conduct analysis to determine the source of the issue; and Resolve Incidents.

* Conduct Request research -- Elicit requirements, assess business needs, Prioritize, and establish commitment timeline.

* Create and maintain technical documentation.

Development:

* Execute EDI strategy to promote partnerships with all applicable business functions in the organization through EDI.

* Participate in developing solutions according to established requirements, technical plans, standards, policies, procedures, system architecture specifications, and best practices.

* Must be conversant with all phases of the Software Development Life Cycle (SDLC).

* Strong ability to create technical diagrams, workflows, UML process flows.

* Ability to create technical standards, methodologies, and processes for successfully building first class external client integration (B2B) environment.

* Experience Architect, design, development, test, and implement applications.

* Responsible for ownership and completion the assigned projects within specified timelines

* Understanding of formats and standards: EDI X12, EDIFACT, CSV, XML/JSON, etc
