General Overview

GDP is looking for a highly motivated, organized, driven and collaborative Senior Embedded Software Engineer to perform a variety of design and development tasks. The individual will report to the General Manager of Delta Telemetry Systems (DTS) and work closely with other functional leaders

This position is to be filled onsite in Horsham, PA.

Principle Duties

• Candidates will be responsible for design and debug of embedded C applications primarily based on Linux OS.
• Product development:
  • Implementation of software algorithms to control embedded device utilizing C and C++
  • Embedded Linux OS
  • Qt for GUI as well as overall framework in embedded devices
  • WebAssembly utilized for Qt GUI giving remote web browser support
• Documentation:
  • Requirements
  • Test Plans
  • Design Reviews

Qualifications

• Bachelor's Degree in Computer Science, Electrical Engineering, or equivalent experience
• At least 5 years' experience in embedded software development
• Experience with C and or C++
• Knowledge of software tools such as revision control and embedded IDE
• Qt software experience a plus
• Excellent written and oral communication skills as well as the ability to work in a team environment

This position may require exposure to information, which is subject to US export control regulations, i.e., the International Traffic in Arms Regulations (ITAR) or the Export Administration Regulations (EAR). All applicants must be "U.S. persons" within the meaning of U.S. regulations.
