Leidos is seeking a Desktop/Laptop Senior Endpoint Engineer to support the Federal Trade Commission (FTC) contract. This position has a full scope of endpoint device management with hardware, software and mobile device support and will assist in building cutting edge solutions to solve complex problems with the right technologies, working through an agile development and release process to support critical customer mission goals. They will also support research, engineering, and development of innovative solutions to support operational missions. This work includes engineering robust infrastructure, end-point capabilities, cloud implementations and enterprise operations.

Primary Responsibilities

• Engineer, deploy, and provide sustaining engineering support for our customer program.
• Provide support and consultation on the design, plan, execution, and deployment of M365 workload migrations including Exchange Online, OneDrive, SharePoint Online, and MS Teams.
• Provide technical and operational subject matter expertise for M365 and SharePoint Service adoptions in the organization.
• Able to work autonomously, provide guidance to the team when necessary, and be able to adapt to changing requirements.
• Provide strategic planning for ongoing engineering designs, development, and improvement of infrastructure, including requirements and implications as they relate to contractual and business requirements and recommend solutions to Management for consideration.
• Stay knowledgeable of current and newly emerging technologies, regularly analyzing and evaluating impact and benefits to the customer by providing recommendations to management
• Perform software analysis, design, development, and test of specific requirements related to Windows, Linux, and mobile operating systems.
• Determine system and software specifications and architecture to meet customer requirements.
• Experience taking input from multiple sources and integrating it into coherent software
• Experience developing Web, Desktop, and Mobile applications
• Apply understanding of technical issues surrounding the designing, building, and testing of software development kits supporting mobile applications and cloud platforms and frameworks
• Apply research skills to identify various methods and solutions to complex software challenges

Basic Qualifications

• Ability to apply System Engineering principles and processes
• Perform software analysis, design, development, and test of specific requirements related to Windows, Linux, and mobile operating systems.
• Determine system and software specifications and architecture to meet customer requirements.
• Strong communication skills to interface with internal and external customers
• Experience taking input from multiple sources and integrating it into coherent software
• Experience developing Web, Desktop, and Mobile applications
• Apply understanding of technical issues surrounding the designing, building, and testing of software development kits supporting mobile applications and cloud platforms and frameworks
• Apply research skills to identify various methods and solutions to complex software challenges
• Experience designing, configuring, and deploying a hybrid M365 environment
• Ability to develop and document overall System Level design, function, requirements, and performance criteria
• Ability to troubleshoot and correct system level problems and issues
• Obtain & maintain a Public Trust Clearance
• Must be a US Citizen

Requires bachelor's degree with over 8 years of prior relevant experience or master's degree with over 6 years of prior relevant experience.

Pay Range: Pay Range $87,100.00 - $157,450.00
