a day in the life: what you'll do

Use algorithms, data structures, programming languages, and programming paradigms to create, test and operate sustainable client-side or server-side software applications and services. Build and extend software applications in varying (cloud, hybrid cloud, and on-premise) environments. Ensure applications are designed to be highly available, observable, and durable via software engineering best practices. Work with business and systems analysts to understand end-user requirements and translate those into pragmatic and effective technical solutions. Work closely with onsite and remote frontend, backend and operations engineers to ensure deliverables are well-documented, secure and resilient. Provide DevOps thought leadership in delivery contexts, focusing on the requirements of lululemon's end-users and how they are best served by continuous improvements to our delivery approach. Collaborate with the engineering teams (onshore and offshore) to deliver on integration projects. Engage in ongoing quality and performance improvement to ensure reliability and security. Design for release and configuration management. Assists in troubleshooting and resolving production system issues.

Telecommuting permitted up to 2 days/week.

40 hrs/week, Mon-Fri, 8:30 a.m. - 5:30 p.m.

qualifications

Bachelor's degree in Computer Science, Engineering or a related field and 5 years of progressive, post-baccalaureate work experience in Information Technology.

Of the required experience, must have 3 years of experience in Java and Springboot.

Of the required experience, must have 2 years of experience in all of the following:
  • AWS or Azure
  • Kafka
Of the required experience, must have 1 year of experience in all of the following:
  • CI/CD tools
  • Linux/Unix
  • Jira
  • Confluence

Workplace Arrangement

Your role is classified as Hybrid under our global SSC Workplace Policy.

In-person collaboration is important, and much of the role can be performed remotely. Work is performed onsite at least 3 days per week.

Compensation and Benefits Package


lululemon's compensation offerings are grounded in a pay-for-performance philosophy that recognizes exceptional individual and teamperformance. Thetypical hiring range for this position is from$191,000 - $211,000annually; the base pay offered is based on market location and may vary depending on job-related knowledge, skills, experience, and internal equity. As part of our total rewards offering, permanent employees in this position may be eligible for our competitive annual bonus program , subject to program eligibility requirements.
