Responsibilities:
  • Scopes, executes and documents the results of Missile Defense System architecture trade studies as a member of the MDA Architecture Trades Group
  • Knowledgeable in C2BMC regarding how it fits in the Command and Control network
  • Experience working with Electronic Attack and Electronic Protection
  • Supports the development of Initial Requirements Documents, Architecture Requirements Packages, and other systems engineering artifacts related to the Missile Defense System, as applicable
  • Supports the development of alternative architecture concepts addressing projected capability gaps, real-world threats, and intelligence community threat estimates
  • Supports activities of the MDA/CA M&S Working Group; provides develops and delivers briefings addressing applicable trade study efforts; provides comment and review to work products developed by other Working Group members
  • Engages with FFDRCs, UARCs, National Labs, and Service Labs to develop and apply Missile Defense System-level and Element-level M&S tools to asses top-level functional capabilities and performance trade space
  • Supports Architecture Trade Studies Division Chief in scoping and defining trade study methodologies, measures and deliverables
  • Supports activities of the Architecture Working Group; provides, develops and delivers briefings addressing applicable trade study efforts; provides comment and review to work products developed by other Working Group members
  • Coordinates trade study related activities and work products with teammates across the Architecture Design Directorate (MDA/CAD) and external MDA stakeholders as applicable
Qualifications:
  • Master's degree in STEM and 12+ years of relevant experience
  • Active Secret Clearance
  • Working knowledge of Electronic Attack and Electronic Protection
  • Detailed knowledge of the Missile Defense System to include Command and Control networks specifically C2BMC and LINK 16
  • Able to successfully accomplish the duties by working with minimal guidance
Desired Skills
  • Knowledge of Hypersonic weapons and their capabilities and limitations
  • Proficient in the Office Suite (Word, Excel, Power Point) Emphasis on Power Point
