We're looking for a Federal Civilian Senior Recruiter that will build strategic partnerships between recruiting, GDIT Centers of Excellence and our business leaders. As a Federal Civilian Senior Recruiter, you must develop and execute proactive recruitment strategies in collaboration with your hiring managers. In addition, you will be responsible for ensuring strategies are aligned to the business objectives and GDIT's imperatives with a customer-centric focus on the candidate experience .

HOW A TALENT ACQUISITION SPECIALIST ADVISOR WILL MAKE AN IMPACT
  • Provide a high-level consultative approach to hiring managers regarding strategy, collaboration and solution for their book of business
  • Understand the intricacies of GDIT's functional business areas and environment dynamics through building and maintaining relationship with hiring managers, HR Business Partners, Compensation Analysts and Recruiters
  • Develop innovative strategies using research in the latest recruitment trends to provide recommendations to management on how to optimize and integrate these trends into daily practice
  • Actively manage key metrics to ensure goals are met and/or exceeded
  • Build pipelines of relevant areas of talent (Business Development Executives, Capture Management, Solution Architects, Finance, Contract Administrators, Subcontract Administrators, Proposal Managers, etc)
WHAT YOU'LL NEED TO SUCCEED IN THE ROLE:
  • 12+ years of Recruiting Experience with a High School Diploma
  • Motivated self-starter; results-oriented and able to work in a fast-paced environment
  • Demonstrated success in working in a virtual team environment
  • Consults with hiring managers regularly & via a requisition kick-off conversation to understand and then post requisitions that accurately reflect the duties, responsibilities, education, training, certifications, experience and security classifications required for the positions
  • Pre-screen via telephone and evaluate external and internal candidates for job openings to identify applicants who fully meet the position requirements of posted requisitions and refers them to the hiring manager for consideration
  • Coordinates and actively participates in the selection of the final candidates
  • Ensure the compensation offer is competitive, internally equitable and affordable
  • Performs compensation analysis and evaluates offers with hiring managers, HR BP's and Compensation Analysts and then extends offer once approved
  • Ensures that GDIT's internal applicant tracking system is maintained and completed; applicants are dispositioned according to OFCCP guidelines; internal candidates are dispositioned and contacted appropriately and interview reports are completed accurately
  • Aptitude in adopting and utilizing research tools such as social media and other niche sourcing tools
  • Aptitude in learning a web-based applicant tracking system (such as Workday)
  • Demonstrated track record in performing daily requisition hygiene / candidate workflow and dispositioning with EEOC and OFCCP compliance
  • Ability to be organized and able to prioritize tasks in a fast-paced, deadline-oriented, rapidly-changing environment
  • Ability to provide reporting and analytics on staffing status and provide analytic updates to management and hiring managers
  • Current government contracting recruiting experience, preferably with Department of State agencies
  • Proficiency using MS Office including Excel, Power Point, Microsoft Teams, HIRE EZ, LinkedIn Recruiter & other job boards
  • Willingness to work in the Falls Church, VA office at least twice a month and as necessary for interviews, career fairs and team/customer meetings

The likely salary range for this position is $93,600 - $140,400. This is not, however, a guarantee of compensation or salary. Rather, salary will be set based on experience, geographic location and possibly contractual requirements and could fall outside of this range.
