Senior Finance Manager

A client of Insight Global is seeking to add a Senior Finance Manager to their reputable organization in the Kansas City area. The major responsibility of this position is to work with several manufacturing locations and senior leadership to develop, plan and monitor the goals, objectives, and strategies of all facilities within the United States. Additional responsibilities include developing and maintaining a process for identifying, measuring, analyzing, preparing, interpreting, and communicating financial information to be used to plan, evaluate, and control resources.

Required Skills & Experience

Bachelor's Degree in Accounting OR Finance or related
8yrs+ of experience managing operational finance in the manufacturing industry
thoroughly understands the day to day of a 24/7 manufacturing facility
operating within continuous improvement, lean six sigma, machine efficiency, plant operations
KPI's, cost centers, standard costs - measuring performance against these
Managing a team
they will have a team of about 6 direct reports
comfortable mentoring and developing talent
Developing production budgets
Tracking/reporting KPI's, project valuations, and financial results
Experience overseeing the financial management/planning for multiple locations

Nice to Have Skills & Experience

MBA in Accounting or Finance
Previous experience with new system/software implementation (they are currently phasing into oracle)
