We are in search of a highly motivated Senior Fire Protection Engineer to join our team of dedicated professionals! The ideal candidate will bring a wealth of experience in providing consulting services to both external and internal clients, leveraging their expertise in fire protection engineering.
Requirements:
- Bachelor's degree (B.S.) in engineering from an accredited college or university.
- Fire Protection Engineering License obtained through examination from any state in the United States.
- Minimum of 10 years of experience in the Fire Protection profession.
- Willingness to travel (estimated travel percentage: 20%).
- Exceptional written and verbal communication skills, including strong oral presentation abilities.
- Ability to thrive in a high-functioning team environment.
Responsibilities and Skills:
- Conduct analysis of existing fire protection systems and design new systems, encompassing suppression systems, fire detection, alarm, and mass notification systems.
- Perform comprehensive building and fire code analysis and interpretation.
- Manage day-to-day communication with internal and external clients, utilizing both experience and technology to meet project expectations.
- Demonstrate adept project management skills to oversee internal projects and fulfill external client requirements.
- Conduct thorough research and compile documentation for internal and external distribution.
- Offer peer reviews of colleagues' work product to ensure quality and accuracy.
- Actively participate in local and national professional organizations, such as SFPE and NFPA.
