Insight Global is seeking a Senior Firmware Engineer to sit onsite for a client in the Hartford, CT area. On a day to day, this candidate will be responsible for working with embedded firmware and software to develop new products. This person will be working with designing, building and testing the products needed throughout the full lifecycle. This candidate should have multiple years of experience working with firmware engineers and developing embedded software. They should also be familiar with linux systems along with software experience in C, C++, or .NET. The person should also be a self-starter who is able to start projects and run with them without supervision.

Required Skills & Experience

3+ years of experience working with firmware engineers and developing embedded systems
Experience working with Linux systems
Strong experience with software such as C, C++, or .NET

Nice to Have Skills & Experience

Understanding of FPGA firmware tools
Bachelor's Degree in Electrical Engineering
