Collins Aerospace is looking for an FP&A Sr. Analyst, NPI Program to join a team of intermediate to experienced Financial Planning and Analysis professionals who provide financial analysis, budgets, and forecasts to management. You will be responsible for preparation of forecasts and performance of financial modeling to develop recommendations to drive the business. You will conduct unit cost analysis and be responsible for development programs transitioning to production. You will have ownership of the financial aspects of recurring cost (bill of material maintenance, hours, overhead cost and supply chain cost) and may assist with specific tasks related to the business cases for these programs. In addition, you will frequently work cross-functionally with other areas of the business including, but not limited to, Program, Supply Chain, Central Operations and Engineering.

**Position is currently remote, but will work onsite when circumstances permit**

Primary Responsibilities

  • Prepares financial analysis, research, budgets, and forecasts to support short-term business goals and decisions.
  • Develops financial reports, cash flows and statistical analysis to recommend business decisions.
  • Provides reports to functional or operational management on financial analysis results and recommendations.
  • Engages across business functions to support cost initiatives
  • Performs economic research and studies of rates of return, depreciation and investments.
  • Generates forecasts and analyzes trends in operations, supply chain, programs, engineering and other areas of business for financial and strategic planning purposes.
  • Creates financial models of "what if" scenarios to help future business planning decisions


Basic Qualifications

  • Bachelors degree and 5 years of relevant experience OR
  • Advance degree and 3 years of relevant experience OR
  • In absence of a degree, 9 years of relevant experience is required
  • Experience working with large data sets
  • Able to communicate and make presentations to senior and executive level leadership
  • Experience managing multiple and varied tasks
  • ERP experience
  • MS Office experience, Excel: look ups, pivot tables, PowerPoint-create presentations
  • Able to travel up to 5% of the time domestically and internationally (when current environment permits)
  • Must be a U.S. Citizen


Preferred Qualifications

  • SAP, BI, Power Query, Power Pivot Experience
