Job Duties:

• Recommend and implement solutions based on analysis of fraud issues; recommend strategies and controls to mitigate their impact, using existing tools
• Create and support monthly, quarterly, and ad-hoc reports, covering fraud metrics, fraud strategy performance and trends analysis
• Learn and gain expert proficiency on a variety of informational tools including decision engine(s)
• Create and manage new/existing fraud strategies to address changing dynamics
• Responsible for professional writing (including: creation of process documents & fraud investigation summaries
• Maintain investigative files including notes, final conclusions and actionable items
• Maintain fraud team SharePoint site and document collaboration efforts
• Participate as required, in cross functional working groups amongst peers
• Join and attend relevant fraud support organizations (such as International Association of Financial Crime Investigators (www.IAFCI.org) and Enterprise Fraud Management educational events).
• Adhere to reasonable service delivery schedules for various tasks owed to colleagues
• Interact with external law enforcement entities regarding on-going fraud investigations
• Interact with retirees, as required

Minimum Qualifications:

• Bachelor's degree in related field, required; an equivalent combination of education and experience may also be considered
• Five years of demonstrated experience conducting intelligence analysis in fraud investigation, and/or cybercrime
• Advanced understanding of intelligence analysis methodologies, tools, and techniques including identity and authentication
• Experience conducting root cause analysis and trend analysis via data and statistics reporting
• Working knowledge of identity and authentication vendors/companies in the U.S. marketplace
• Willingness to execute routine transactional duties, alongside emerging fraud investigations
• Exposure to methods/options for designing and implementing effective fraud controls and rules
• Proficiency in Microsoft Excel
• Exceptional critical thinking, analytical, and problem-solving abilities, with a strong attention to detail
• Excellent interpersonal skills, including verbal and written communication
• Intuitive personality that uses facts paired with strong emotional intelligence
• Investigative curiosity, and process analysis skills

Additional Considerations

• Previous experience with threat intelligence platforms and data analysis tools

Currently, this position has a hybrid work schedule, which means working in the office two days (Tuesdays and Wednesdays) and working remotely (Mondays, Thursdays, and Fridays) three days a week. The selected candidate must be able to work in the office any day of the week as required by the manager.
