Senior Full Stack Engineer (AWS)

Cognizant Digital Engineering practice is looking to hire a Senior Full Stack Engineer with proven experience AWS, Spring Boot and Microservices framework, and experienced with front end and back end frameworks.

Responsibilities

• Lead the design and implementation of scalable applications using Microservices architecture.
• Develop high-quality, reusable code with Spring Boot for various services and applications
• Use AWS Lambda Layer to create efficient, serverless applications, reducing infrastructure costs and improving scalability
• Collaborate with cross-functional teams to understand requirements and deliver solutions that meet business needs
• Ensure the performance, quality, and responsiveness of applications through rigorous testing and code reviews.
• Identify and resolve any technical issues, optimizing application for maximum speed and scalability.
• Keep abreast of emerging technologies and industry trends to incorporate into the development process.
• Provide mentorship and guidance to junior engineers, fostering a culture of continuous learning and improvement.
• Drive the deployment process, ensuring seamless transitions from development to production environments
• Contribute to the strategic planning of the technology roadmap, aligning with the company goals and objectives.
• Work closely with stakeholders to understand the impact of technological solutions on the business and society.
• Proven experience in developing applications using Microservices, Spring Boot, and AWS Lambda Layer is required
• Strong understanding of serverless architectures and cloud services, particularly AWS.
• Experience in the Payer domain is a plus, offering valuable insights into the healthcare industry.
• Excellent problem-solving skills and the ability to work in a fast-paced, dynamic environment.
• Strong communication and teamwork skills, capable of working effectively in cross-functional teams.
• A commitment to continuous learning and development in the field of software engineering
• Ability to lead projects and guide teams towards successful delivery.
• Additionally, you will mentor junior team members, conduct code reviews, and ensure high-quality deliverables
• Troubleshoot and debug to optimize performance
• Understand existing applications and enhance
• Comply to industry best practices and internal standards
• Work with Onshore/Offshore teams
• Champion best practices and standards for building, delivering, and operating reliable services

Qualifications

• We are seeking a highly skilled Senior Engineer - Full Stack with a focus on Microservices, Spring Boot, and AWS Lambda Layer to lead our delivery team.
• With 10-12 years of experience, the ideal candidate will drive the development and deployment of scalable applications, ensuring high performance and responsiveness. This role is pivotal in transforming our digital landscape and enhancing our services in the Payer domain.
• Technical Skills- Microservices, Spring Boot, AWS Lamdba Layer.
• Experience in Solving and bug fixing.
• Develop, optimize, and maintain various internal/external software applications and plugins
• Offshore/ Onshore Model exposure
• Agile Work model

Location: Saint Louis - MO USA or Remote

Salary and Other Compensation:

Applications will be accepted until 5/7/2024

The annual salary for this position is between $52,000 - 137,600 depending on experience and other qualifications of the successful candidate.

This position is also eligible for Cognizant's discretionary annual incentive program, based on performance and subject to the terms of Cognizant's applicable plans.
