We are looking for an amazing Senior HR Representative to join our team! The ideal candidate will have excellent customer service and communication skills, strong attention to detail, ability to think creatively, and be committed to having a strong impact on our employees and our business. As a member of the Tyler HR team, this position will play a key role in driving our culture and implementing practices and objectives that will support our employee-oriented, high performing environment.

We are looking for someone for this role to be onsite in our Plano, TX location (5101 Tennyson Parkway, Plano, TX 75024), or work a hybrid arrangement with 3 days a week in the office.

Responsibilities
  • Responsible for providing a full range of human resources services to assigned divisional or corporate staff. Handle employee relations, respond to team member requests, provide counsel to management regarding company policies, procedures and developing talent, and partner with the HR leader on solutions.
  • Build and maintain credible and trusting relationships with team members, managers and leadership
  • Address complex employee relations and legal issues and provide advice and counsel as needed, adhering to HR policy and applicable laws
  • Counsel team members and managers on HR policies and procedures to ensure fair and equitable treatment of all team members
  • Conduct employee investigations of all complexities
  • Responsible for employee accommodation requests and may provide consultation to other team members on complex requests requiring creative solutions
  • Participate in onboarding new hires including new hire orientation, Tyler Days, and mentor programs
  • Responsible for performance management activities such as performance evaluation process, performance improvement process and terminations
  • Partner with divisional HR leader to assist with talent strategy, retention, and succession planning
  • Facilitate and support learning and development programs and initiatives
  • Conduct and/or analyze exit surveys and interviews, and provide trends, insights and recommendations when applicable
  • Partner with HR leader and take a lead role in the execution of the annual employee engagement survey
  • Analyze surveys and other employment data to identify trends and provide recommendations to HR leadership; serve as an advocate for a positive team member experience
  • Provide guidance to managers regarding base and variable compensation decisions, pay equity, and administration of the compensation structure; partners with HR leadership to develop and maintain incentive plans; may be responsible for the administration of the divisional annual compensation process
  • Work with HRIS team to ensure the HR system is accurate and up to date, and support managers with manager self-service in myTyler, which is our HRIS system (UKG)
  • Administer processes and programs such as Workers Compensation, Immigration, Leaves of Absence, Affirmative Action, Service Awards, etc.
  • Supports Diversity, Equity, and Inclusion initiatives to ensure a fair and equitable workplace
  • Model Tyler's Mission, Vision and Values behaviors and mentor team members to do the same
  • Provide guidance, direction, and mentorship to less experienced HR staff
  • Leads and collaborates on various HR projects and initiatives; provides input for process improvement and efficiencies
  • Responsible for background check inquires and processing, and administering security clearances where applicable


Qualifications
  • Bachelor's degree in Human Resources Management or related field preferred
  • Minimum of 5 years of HR experience
  • Expert knowledge of human resources policies, programs, and strategies related to employee relations, recruiting, compensation, benefits, and EEO/AAP administration
  • Advanced knowledge of applicable federal, state, and local labor laws and regulations
  • Demonstrate strong interpersonal, communication, and organization skills, including the ability to multi-task and present to a variety of audiences including senior leadership
  • Proficient computer skills in Microsoft Office Suite, including Excel, Word, and PowerPoint
  • May require occasional travel
