Job Summary
Reporting directly to the VP, HR Compression Systems & Services, NA, the Sr. Manager, HR - CSS will provide highly effective HR support for VP of Operations including close business partnership with the operations leadership team. This role is pivotal, acting as a strategic partner and advisor within the operations leadership team for the North American CSS division. You will work intimately with leaders in CSS operations to not only sustain but also amplify the business's rapid growth, both organically and through acquisitions. Your focus will be on driving progress in key areas including Employee Engagement, Talent Development, Cultural Advancement, Diversity-Equity-Inclusion initiatives, and bolstering Organizational Effectiveness.

Leading a dedicated team of HR professionals, you will be responsible for ensuring the delivery of high-quality HR solutions that cater to the needs of leaders, managers, and associates, fostering an environment of growth and continuous improvement.

Responsibilities
  • Effectively partner with CSS operations leaders to drive positive, business-impacting change, aligning human resources programs and initiatives with strategic objectives and annual operating plans.
  • Develop strategy and lead bargaining for union negotiations and union avoidance.
  • Serve as a performance coach for CSS operations leaders to ensure the team is highly effective in improving organizational capability and is continuing to win in the marketplace.
  • Supervise a team of HR professionals in delivering effective HR execution.
  • Manage and develop capabilities of the HR team to support business initiatives and to ensure development of HR talent
  • Lead all aspects of the Talent Review Excellence (TRX) process for the operations team.
  • Utilize effective change management approaches to ensure continuous improvement and other types of change are effectively implemented with minimal disruption to leaders, employees and other stakeholders.


Basic Qualifications
  • Bachelor's degree from an accredited institution is required. Master's degree (MBA, Master's in HR, etc.) is preferred, but not required.
  • Minimum of 8 years of increasing responsibility in a progressive HR environment.
  • Minimum of 5 years as an HR Business Partner in a global environment.
  • HR certifications are a strong plus.
  • Direct experience as chief negotiator in labor negotiations with unions.
  • Minimum of 5 years of experience in managing effective responses to union organizing efforts, demonstrating a track record of successful union avoidance strategies.
  • Minimum of 5 years leading experienced HR Leaders.
  • Demonstrated expertise in building talent, engaging teams, driving culture change and strategic growth of businesses and organizations.
  • Demonstrated success in creating an environment of trust with business partners where integrity is unquestioned.
  • Strong understanding of HR functions, including talent management, employee relations, performance management, and compliance.
  • Excellent interpersonal, influencing and communications skills.
  • Knowledge of relevant local/state/federal/provincial employment laws.
  • Must be authorized to work in the US without company sponsorship.


Travel & Work Arrangements/Requirements
This position will be site-based and may be located at facility in Ocala, FL (West Chester, PA may also be considered) with 50% anticipated travel.

Key Competencies
Prior experience in an industrial company.
Direct experience in manufacturing and commercial environments.
HR certifications are also a strong plus.
