Overview

The Identity and Access Management (IAM) are committed to providing well defined characteristics of digital identities including architecture, roles, and access entitlements. The Identity and Access Management (IAM) Analyst will report directly to the IAM/PAM Program Manager and support the CISO to provide the highest quality security services to Dartmouth Health's business units and customers. This role facilitates the use of technology-based tools and methodologies to review, design and/or implement products and services to provide a strong proofing program that balances access with compliance and confidentiality. The IAM Analyst performs daily functions required to administer the rules and controls for Information Security to protect Dartmouth Health's information assets, working with critical and sensitive information, and is relied upon to maintain security and least privileged safeguards.

Responsibilities
  • Oversees joiner/mover/leaver (JML) workflows, collaborating with HR, IT, and other departments to ensure smooth onboarding, changes, and offboarding processes
  • Provide user account life cycle management, including creating, provisioning, securing, and inactivation of access
  • Work closely with the IAM/PAM team to ensure that the right people have the appropriate birthright and additional access to the right resources and applications at the right time
  • Work with internal customers, business analysts, application and technical teams to understand access requirements
  • Manage troubleshooting and resolving IAM and PAM issues via incident/problem lifecycle including ticketing and stakeholder interaction
  • Oversee and implement process and operational improvement
  • Develop and provide training to users on the IAM and PAM systems
  • Participate in planning and implementing strategy programs
  • Assist Engineers and Architects in troubleshooting issues with IAM and PAM tools and processes
  • Proficient in writing and maintaining procedures and technical documentation
  • Implement new features and integrations within the IAM and PAM environments
  • Ability to identify and manage technical issues for various platforms, applications, and systems, to assist in planning and solving problem resolution according to standardized processes
  • Promote and socialize Information Security best practices, standards, and governance
  • Develops, implements, and optimizes Role Based Access Controls (RBAC) policies to enforce the principle of least privilege and ensure data security
  • Identifies and evaluates complex business and technology risks, internal controls that mitigate risks, and related opportunities for internal control improvement
  • Participate in IAM and PAM audits and review access control reports to identify potential risks
  • Performs other duties as required or assigned

  • Qualifications
    • 7-years of relevant experience or 5-years of relevant experience and a Bachelor's degree in Computer Science or related field.
    • Minimum of 5-years' experience in developing or supporting Identity and Access Management (IAM) and Privileged Access Management (PAM) solutions.
    • Working knowledge of Microsoft applications and cloud-based software such as O365, Azure and Power Products is preferred.
    • Organizational and leadership skills are essential.
