JOB SUMMARY:

This position will be responsible for the gathering and analyzing data, designing workflows, measuring workflows, development, modification, general maintenance, and validation of Hospital reports. The Informaticist works directly with functional clients, physicians, and managers to collect requirements, specifications to develop workflows, reports, data extracts and advanced visualizations. The Informaticist maintains existing reporting components and identifies the need for additional reports or more advanced delivery options. Develops and maintains a searchable index of existing reports, visualizations, and queries. The Informatics provides advanced clinical application support; training to help interpret data and build RADAR and Qlik dashboards using the Chronicles the Clarity and Caboodle databases. The Informaticist uses advanced query language (SQL) techniques, and other reporting tools; collaborates with functional and technical staff on data architecture issues and query optimizations. Assists with changes to the Clinical Data warehouse (Clarity), including data field modifications and ETL refinements. Provides direction, guidance, and innovation with reporting system upgrades/updates, including Epic, Clarity and Qlik upgrades. Follows proper protocols for version controls related to queries, visualizations, and reports. The Informaticist will be the organizational owner of Epic Radar dashboard development, coordinating and collaborating with other informaticists on more advanced, innovative solutions as needed.

MINIMUM QUALIFICATIONS:

Bachelor's Degree

7-10 years of data analysis experience within healthcare

SQL Server Management Studio (SSMS)

Multiple Epic EMR certifications related to Clarity Data model

Strong skills using visualizations tools such as Qlik or others

Advanced SQL query language skills

Advanced Epic Radar & Reporting Workbench build experience

Demonstrated commitment to valuing diversity and contributing to an inclusive working and learning environment

PREFERRED QUALIFICATIONS:

Master's Degree

7 or more years of Epic Reporting using RADAR and/or Reporting Workbench experience

7 or more years using Epic Chronicles and Clarity as a data source

MS Report Builder and SQL Reporting Services (SSRS)

The expected hiring range for this position is $48.03 to $66.05
