Job Description:

We are seeking a skilled Senior Instrumentation Technician to provide technical support and coordinate work activities within our team. 

This role is critical in ensuring customer service needs are met and operations run smoothly.




Key Responsibilities:
  • Technical Support: Provide expertise in troubleshooting all site automation technologies to resolve issues and enhance operations.
  • Calibration & Maintenance: Perform calibrations and necessary corrective actions on production, facility, and utility equipment to maintain reliable performance.
  • Equipment Troubleshooting: Analyze and repair equipment by adjusting, replacing, and troubleshooting components such as sensors, cables, connectors, and control boards.
  • Work Order Management: Execute preventive, corrective, and emergency work orders, responding to service calls during plant operations, including off-shift periods and weekends.
  • Program Logic Review: Assist in reviewing PLC or HMI program logic during certifications or troubleshooting to understand deviations from proper operation.
  • Test Protocol Execution: Develop or update machine logic and execute test protocols in collaboration with Engineering, supporting Factory Acceptance Testing (FAT) and Site Acceptance Testing (SAT).
  • Calibration Standards Maintenance: Maintain and review primary, secondary, and working calibration standards to ensure compliance with manufacturer tolerances.
  • Root Cause Analysis: Actively participate in RCA meetings to identify and resolve calibration and equipment issues, driving continuous improvement in business performance.
  • Project Collaboration: Work independently or with Reliability and Engineers on projects to ensure equipment meets site standards, providing recommendations for automation and measurement equipment.




Qualifications:
  • Experience: Minimum of 5 years in instrumentation, measurement, control, or troubleshooting, with a strong understanding of calibration methodology and process control systems.
  • Technical Skills: Proficient in reading schematics, P&ID drawings, and ISA symbols. 
  • Experience with equipment start-up and project support is a plus.
  • Communication: Strong written and verbal communication skills with attention to detail and the ability to work independently or within a team.
  • Record Keeping: Ability to maintain accurate records and adhere to regulatory requirements, safety standards, and quality measures.
  • Adaptability: Demonstrated ability to adapt to changing work assignments and improve processes continuously.




Language Skills:

Fluent in English (Read/Write/Speak).
