Fintech firm looking to hire a Senior Java Developer & Architect to their server-side engineering team. In this role, you will design large scale backends for a web platform and implement those designs using Java. You'll work with the team to evaluate current and future business needs, present design ideas to senior leadership and implement those ideas. Th team is looking for someone who can bring a fresh perspective to problem solving and can leverage previous experience designing and building large scale web applications in Java and AWS.

Responsibilities:

• Product enhancements of existing code base
• Implementation of new architectural concepts and enhancements
• Performance and optimization

Requirements:

• 5+ years of experience, backend java development
• 2+ years experience design/architecture
• Experience with complicated, large scale web applications
