A financial firm is looking for aSenior Java Developer to join their team in Iselin, NJ.

Pay: $125-175k
Qualifications:
  • Strong in Web Technologies
  • Good understanding of the Server-Side technologies is plus
  • Ability to analyze the various quality dimensions including performance, reliability and resilience, cyber security, and design and implement improvements to meet them
  • Up-to-date knowledge of latest technologies, technology trends, and third-party solutions.
  • Excellent analytical and communication skills
  • Ability to work on complex projects with globally distributed teams and tight timelines
Required:
  • 8 years of IT experience of which 5 years should be in Java based Web application development
  • Excellent core JavaScript
  • Hands on experience with Web Apps built on GWT
  • Experience in a diverse set of web app development tools and technologies such as JavaScript ES6 , Typescript, HTML5, Bootstrap 4
  • Hands on experience with Angular 2
  • Excellent database skills required;DB2 or SQL Server preferred
  • Hands-on working experience with Test frameworks/technologies such as Karma/Protractor, Mocha, Chai etc.
  • Knowledge/experience using web servers (e.g., Apache, Tomcat) and Build tools (Maven, Jenkins)
  • Knowledge of Data Structures and Algorithms
  • Good Knowledge in secure coding practices and OWASP Guidelines
  • Full stack development using Servers side Java, Hibernate, Spring Boot is plus
  • Working knowledge and experience on scripting languages like Python or Erlang is plus
  • Knowledge of building complex financial models using Java or Python is a plus
Preferred:
  • B. S. or beyond in computer science or a related field
  • Experience in financial services is plus
