Senior Java Developer

Responsibilities

• Sr. Java Developer / We are seeking a highly skilled Sr. Software Engineer B2 with 8-10 years of experience, specializing in Java, Spring Boot, AWS Cloud, Microservices, DB SQL, to join our Asset & Wealth Management team. The ideal candidate will contribute to developing innovative solutions, enhancing our client services, and driving technological advancements.

Qualifications

• Bachelor's degree in Computer Science, Information Systems, Engineering or Quantitative Finance is required, or in lieu, a demonstrated equivalence in work experience.

• 8+ years of IT experience in application development and support.

• Strong Experience with Object Oriented Programming and Design (I.E. Java).

• Experience with Java/J2EE, Spring Boot, MicroServices, Postgre DB.

• Experience in AWS services like ECS, EC2, IAM, S3, EMR etc.

• Experience with docker containers

• Experience working in distributed agile (Scrum) model.

• Experience with Windows and Linux based servers.

• Strong Work Ethic, Communication and Thoughtfulness

The annual salary for this position is between $43,900 - $127,900 depending on experience and other qualifications of the successful candidate.

This position is also eligible for Cognizant's discretionary annual incentive program, based on performance and subject to the terms of Cognizant's applicable plans.
