The School of Computing at Clemson University invites applicants for a Senior Lecturer position beginning August 2024 with primary responsibility as academic coordinator of the School of Computing Master's programs (online and traditional).



Master's program coordination includes the oversight and administration of the Master's applications, admissions, and registration processes, as well as advisory committee responsibilities for the graduate students. This role requires collaboration across school leadership, the Clemson graduate school, graduate student services, and registration team members.



In addition, the candidate is expected to contribute to the School through teaching (primarily for undergraduate classes), student advising, participation in departmental and university committees, and other typical faculty responsibilities. Teaching assignments will be determined based on school needs and candidate background.



The School of Computing has 36 tenured/tenure-track faculty members, 16 full-time non-tenure track faculty, more than 1,200 undergraduate majors, and over 400 graduate students. The School offers twelve degrees at the Baccalaureate, Master's, and Doctorate levels in Computer Science, Human-Centered Computing, Digital Production Arts, Biomedical Data Sciences and Informatics, and an interdisciplinary master's program in Systems Engineering. Qualifications

Successful candidates will have earned a graduate degree in computer science or related discipline by the start date. Experience administering graduate programs or equivalent industry experience is required. A record of successful teaching experience is preferred.
